Security rated steel roller shutters
Our security rated steel roller shutters can provide excellent protection in commercial or industrial applications and are assessed and tested to withstand attack by a third party such as BRE Global. Our LPS1175 Issue 7 security shutters are available from 1mx1m up to a size of 10mx10m when internally fixed, and can be specified to SR1, SR2, SR3 or SR4 security ratings. When you see these shutters, it becomes apparent why they are good at withstanding forced attacks, they are made from heavier gauge material and come with a variety of locking options from pinlocks to ground locks depending on the specification selected. The SR1 and SR2 curtains are single skinned but rolled from a thicker coil to provide that extra security required, whereas the SR3 and SR4 versions are double skinned with an anti-cut core providing a much greater level of security when it is needed. As with our other doors they are made using galvanized material and can be left in this standard finish state or powder coated to a colour of your choice from the large RAL or BS selection in our in-house powder coating plant. Although we do offer a variety of motors to operate these doors it is best to get in touch to see what options are available to you due to the increased weights involved from the heavier gauge material used to provide the protection.
