Fire Rated Roller Shutters
Our fire rated roller shutters are suitable for various commercial and industrial applications throughout the private and public sector, within buildings ranging from factories, warehouses, schools and hospitals to anywhere that fire protection is required. They can be installed inside or out, and in the correct configuration can provide completely unobstructed access when open. All of our fire rated roller shutters are assessed and tested by a third party such as Warrington Fire (Element) and to BS1634-1 and BS476 Part 22:1987 up to a size of 10 metres in width and 10 metres in height. Our standard fire rated roller shutters come with a single skinned curtain and can be operated by our popular DC motor and control panel, linking easily to any fire alarm system with a built-in battery back-up for peace of mind, and offer the option of split drop delay which is programmable through the DC control panel, which also comes with an audio and visual alarm as standard. We can also offer fire rated roller shutters with a double skinned and insulated core curtain although these are usually powered by our externally mounted motor with an AV control panel but offer the same control options as it’s DC counterpart. Every shutter is made using galvanized material and can be left in this standard finish state or powder coated to a colour of your choice from the large RAL or BS selection in our in-house powder coating plant.
