Steel roller shutters
Our standard roller shutters are suitable for various commercial and industrial applications including factories, warehouses, loading bays or wherever security is required across an opening. They can be installed inside or out, and in the correct configuration can provide completely unobstructed access when open. All of our curtains, interlocked horizontally, are tested up to Class 5 for wind resistance, this is achieved through our wide variety of end locks and channel guides meaning even the widest of shutters perform well in even the worst of weather. Every shutter is made using galvanized material and can be left in this standard finish state or powder coated to a colour of your choice from the large RAL or BS selection in our in-house powder coating plant. As every shutter is custom made and assembled in our factory we can provide a further selection of curtains, one of which will surely suit your needs, such as plastisol, perforated, punched, stainless steel or tube and link. Some of these are ideally suited where airflow, from an underground car park, or visibility, through a shopfront, are necessary. We also offer a range of operation from manually operated, push/pull or chain hoist, to electrically operated with a motor to suit your requirements and supply.

Fire Rated Roller Shutters
Our fire rated roller shutters are suitable for various commercial and industrial applications throughout the private and public sector, within buildings ranging from factories, warehouses, schools and hospitals to anywhere that fire protection is required. They can be installed inside or out, and in the correct configuration can provide completely unobstructed access when open. All of our fire rated roller shutters are assessed and tested by a third party such as Warrington Fire (Element) and to BS1634-1 and BS476 Part 22:1987 up to a size of 10 metres in width and 10 metres in height. Our standard fire rated roller shutters come with a single skinned curtain and can be operated by our popular DC motor and control panel, linking easily to any fire alarm system with a built-in battery back-up for peace of mind, and offer the option of split drop delay which is programmable through the DC control panel, which also comes with an audio and visual alarm as standard. We can also offer fire rated roller shutters with a double skinned and insulated core curtain although these are usually powered by our externally mounted motor with an AV control panel but offer the same control options as it’s DC counterpart. Every shutter is made using galvanized material and can be left in this standard finish state or powder coated to a colour of your choice from the large RAL or BS selection in our in-house powder coating plant.

Security rated steel roller shutters
Our security rated steel roller shutters can provide excellent protection in commercial or industrial applications and are assessed and tested to withstand attack by a third party such as BRE Global. Our LPS1175 Issue 7 security shutters are available from 1mx1m up to a size of 10mx10m when internally fixed, and can be specified to SR1, SR2, SR3 or SR4 security ratings. When you see these shutters, it becomes apparent why they are good at withstanding forced attacks, they are made from heavier gauge material and come with a variety of locking options from pinlocks to ground locks depending on the specification selected. The SR1 and SR2 curtains are single skinned but rolled from a thicker coil to provide that extra security required, whereas the SR3 and SR4 versions are double skinned with an anti-cut core providing a much greater level of security when it is needed. As with our other doors they are made using galvanized material and can be left in this standard finish state or powder coated to a colour of your choice from the large RAL or BS selection in our in-house powder coating plant. Although we do offer a variety of motors to operate these doors it is best to get in touch to see what options are available to you due to the increased weights involved from the heavier gauge material used to provide the protection.

Security rated steel hinged doors – LPS1175 & PAS24
Security rated steel hinged doors – LPS1175
Our security rated steel hinged doors have undergone assessment and testing through BRE Global to their latest LPS1175 Issue 8 certification. This new certification has changed the way these doors are specified and described, gone are the SR2 names for instance, being replaced with their new B3 equivalent. Our A1 and B3 doorsets are available in single or double leaf options, and are custom made using magnelis steel which offers superior resistance to corrosion, and come furnished with Assa Abloy locking to suit personnel doorsets or Exidor locking where MOE is required. We are currently in the process of testing our higher-grade security doorsets to C5 and D10 enabling us to offer the complete package to our customers and like our security rated shutters look forward to them withstanding the most stringent of attacks during the testing procedure.

Sectional Overhead Doors
Our sectional overhead doors are multi-functional combining security, insulation and a distinctive appearance in harmony with most architectural styles from contemporary to conventional. The panels are connected together using a tongue and groove thermal-break and are mechanically connected and interlocked by means of hinges, using wheels within a track system allowing them to be fitted vertically but raise up and into a horizontal position when open. Whilst our standard panel range comes in a limited colour palette as standard we can offer the choice of any RAL or BS colour from our standard range. These doors can be manually operated, push up/pull down or chain hoist, or electrically operated.

These doors are usually controlled automatically, keeping the operative within their vehicle for quick and easy movement between areas. Each door comes in a standard galvanized finish, as they are mostly found in areas where the emphasis is on productivity rather than aesthetics, with the mantle (curtain) coming in a limited colour palette. Roll up and fold up versions are available, so no matter where your premises are located or which environment they reside in we have an option for you.

Fire Curtains
Our fire curtains are suitable for a variety of applications including manufacturing, commercial, domestic, retails, schools and are suitable for internal locations only. Our fire curtains have undergone rigorous testing to ensure they comply with the latest building control and fire safety regulations. Once installed they activate in the event of a fire, firstly by remaining in the up position ensuring the safe evacuation of the area/building and then after a set time (of up to 16 mins) will deploy and descend in a control manner to the floor below. Operation is via our DC motor and control panel, which has an integrated battery back-up lasting up to 48hr’s. Once the fire alarm is reset, the curtain will automatically return to the open position. All metal works are traditionally powder coated to a colour of your choice from the large RAL or BS selection in our in-house powder coating plant. Each fire curtain is bespoke in size and configured to suit your buildings and occupants needs.
